Taiwan's iconic Asian MICE Forum (AMF) will be held online on September 6. Organized by the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade Ministry of Economic Affairs and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the Forum will focus on introducing new knowledge and analyzing future trends of various industries.
The global meetings industry is gradually recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, so this year's event will feature an innovative look. Themed Reshape the World of MICE, the 2022 Forum will reveal industry trends and future approaches to MICE for conferences, exhibitions, events, and incentive travel to embrace new business opportunities.
1. Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TETDC) Secretary General Simon Wang (王熙蒙) and representatives from Thailand, Singapore, and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) will discuss Asia's meetings industry and the pulse of Asia.
2. Vice President of Branding and Innovative Experiences at Maritz Global Events, a leading event PR firm, will share tips on leveraging customer experience to build event success as the industry recovers.
3. As the global pandemic continues to cool and borders reopen, people are more eager to travel, so international destinations are relaunching their incentive travel markets. The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and the Kaohsiung City Government are invited to discuss the practices related to the relaunch of incentive tourism and the policies for industry revitalization and safety management for travelers after the pandemic.
4. Forever Living Products, a recent winner of the SITE Award, will share how to smoothly organize online global conventions in the wake of the epidemic and connect the world in a way that keeps the heat on.
5. In addition, sustainable MICE is receiving a lot of attention in the new post-epidemic environment, and the Chief Reformer of the Global Destination Sustainability Event Platform will share how to accelerate the implementation of sustainable development.
6. The Chief Operating Officer of Fira Barcelona, a Spanish event organization, will share a case study of how it won the UFI Operational Services Award in 2021; plus, how it has actively built an ecosystem of industries, bringing together curators, suppliers, business partners, staff, and communities to face the pandemic crisis.
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said the 2022 AMF would be broadcast live on AMF Facebook and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council YouTube channel. Visit the official AMF website (www.amf.com.tw ) for more information.
