Attracting International Conferences
To promote Taiwan’s visibility on the international stage, the Taiwan MICE Project Office actively helps domestic organizations promote Taiwan as a destination for international conferences by offering consulting services and financial assistance. For example,
● Providing bidding tools, including bid proposal templates, briefings, brochures, giveaways, etc.
● Recommending qualified professional conference organizers, suitable venues, and peripheral service providers.
● Integrating financial assistance and other resources from different units of the government.
● Providing government sponsor letters.
● Offering assistance to international organization representatives to come to Taiwan for site inspections.
● Providing financial assistance to promote international conferences to be held in Taiwan, the assistance may be up to NTD 500,000 (around USD16,666) on bidding and promoting stage; up to NTD 4,000,000 (around USD 133,333) for holding the event.
